Parent engagement plays a essential role in the success of early childhood education. Head Start parents and families have numerous opportunities to engage in their children's education, including Policy Council. Policy Council is a formal leadership and policy-making board where parent interests are represented and essential to guide decisions about their children's Head Start program.
