Seasonal Crisis Assistance is available only during designated periods throughout the year.

Winter Crisis Program
Available November 1-March 31
Provides assistance for eligible households experiencing a heating emergency, including utility disconnection, a disconnect notice, or low bulk fuel supply.
Summer Cooling Program
Available July 1-September 30
Provides assistance for eligible households who need help maintain electric service during the summer cooling season.
- You may qualify if your household meets income guidelines and:
- Someone in the home is age 60 or older
- Someone in the home has a documented medical condition
- You are enrolled in PIPP
- You received a disconnect notice
- You need to establish electric service
Cooling devices (air conditions or box fans):
Households who have not received a cooling device in the last three (3) years may be eligible to receive a new device. Distribution is on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Gather your Documents
Upload required documents at least 5 days before your appointment. Missing documents may delay assistance or result in cancellation. Download checklist to see what you need before your appointment.
Answer Your Phone
We will call you at your scheduled appointment time. If you miss your appointment call, you may need to reschedule, and appointment availability is limited.
Can’t find an appointment?
If your utility service is currently off and you cannot find an available appointment, join the Reconnection Waitlist.
- Households are reviewed and prioritized for the next available opening
- You will be contacted or scheduled once availability opens
- Please only join the Reconnection Waitlist once – multiple entries will not expedite scheduling.
