I'm inspired by the impact our work has on our community and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve.
Doug Bennett serves as Vice President of External Affairs for Step Forward, where he leads community outreach, government relations, public engagement, and strategic partnerships.
Since joining the agency in 2015, Doug has worked to strengthen relationships with community organizations, elected officials, and other partners who share Step Forward's commitment to expanding opportunity and improving lives. His work helps connect the agency's programs and services to the people and communities that need them most.
Doug believes meaningful change happens when people come together around a common purpose. He is passionate about building partnerships, fostering collaboration, and helping advance Step Forward's mission across Northeast Ohio.
What's one value that guides your leadership?
Respect - for yourself and for others. I believe strong relationships begin with treating everyone with dignity and respect.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Golfing, traveling, and reading.
