Why I do this work
Knowing that my work can make a meaningful difference in someone's life inspires me every day. I never forget how overwhelming it can feel to face challenges alone, so I strive to be a source of guidance, hope, and support for others.
As Vice President of Human Resources, Madeline Corchado helps create a workplace where Step Forward employees can do their best work in service to the communities they support. She leads the agency's human resources strategy, including employee relations, talent development, and organizational culture.
Madeline brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in human resources and organizational development. Before joining Step Forward, she served as Chief of Human Resources and Inclusion for Cleveland Public Library and held several leadership roles with the City of Cleveland.
At the heart of Madeline's work is a belief that people are every organization's greatest asset. She is passionate about helping employees grow, supporting strong teams, and creating an environment where people feel valued, respected, and empowered to make a difference.
